Peanut Butter Banana Lick Mat
A slow-lick enrichment spread of xylitol-free peanut butter and mashed banana on a lick mat.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoonPeanut butterMUST be xylitol-free (no xylitol / birch sugar); choose an unsalted, no-added-sugar variety.
- 1/4 small, mashedBananaRipe banana mashed smooth.
Steps
- Mash the banana until smooth in a small bowl.
- Stir in the xylitol-free peanut butter until combined.
- Spread a thin layer across a clean lick mat, pushing it into the grooves.
- Optional: freeze for 1-2 hours to make it last longer.
- Offer the mat in a supervised spot and wash it well after use.
Storage
Best served fresh. A prepared mat can be covered and refrigerated for up to 2 days or frozen for up to 1 month.
